Great shrimp / chicken fajitas!! OMG so thankful to have such a place near by wonderful for Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Young staff still in training but gets the job done. *Could use some Mexican style music playing lightly in the back ground. Would help the ambiance tremendously. Over all a Great place!
Very good Mexican food not over spiced but down home authentic flavor very good
Good enchiladas and decent service for around 35 dollars a couple. Not bad.
Wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t good..... service was slow, and they serve their salsa in little tiny dishes so two chips later you are out. The food came out, and the beef fajitas were just warm with a sugar sauce on top... the combo plate was barely room temperature and was lackluster at best! Also had to ask twice for corn tortillas instead of flour for the fajitas.
Very friendly, family owned restaurant. Food is homemade and the tamales are fresh.
Love it! This style mexican food is greatly missing in this area and is a welcome addition. We have visited 6-8 times in the last couple months and Isabella's is becoming one of the staples in our restaurant rotation.
I just moved to Crowley and decided to try a new restaurant that my prior city didn't have. I wish I had driven a little further to Burleson for On The Border. The food at Isabella's was terrible. My daughter was here from college and neither of us could eat it. Queso was tasteless with nothing in it except what looked like American cheese and water warmed up. Rice was bland and completely stuck together. Cheese enchiladas were mush. They give 2 people 10 chips in a tiny bowl and never come back to refill. We waited over 30 min for food with 2 people in restaurant . Not going back.
Food and margaritas are great. Not over priced. The help seams kinda lost at times but over all still quick service. Will continue to go back.
Great Chips and Salsa ... If you want a beer and chips and salsa and want to stay local its perfect.. The food was just ok. Store bought tortillas. The food just didn't seem to authentic rather store bought and heated up type food... And the process is pretty outrageous for the quality of food.. I would have given 2 stars but the atmosphere is nice, location is good and the chips and salsa were pretty good also..
Service was good. Margarita and Cowboys pre-season game on tv. Who could ask for more?!!
The past two times that I went to this place I left unhappy. They now give you a small bowl of chips and a tiny cup of salsa to where you have to keep asking for more. I was there Sept 13, 2018 and the refried been were liquified. This place use to be great. I won’t be back.
Did ya'll change owners? Cause this visit was truly horrible. The salsa was like water, food was so bland that jalapenos couldn't even help.. I don't know who is running your kitchen but fire them!! I don't see us returning.
Great and friendly staff. Food is terrific
Service was slow. Few customers at the time of arrival. Food was cold, no flavor. This was our 1st time and definitely our last.
Until recently I was a regular weekend customer, but the overall quality during the past several weeks has declined sharply. I attribute this unfortunate down-spiral to extremely high worker turnover and lack of managerial supervision; inconsistent, subpar service being the inevitable result. Meanwhile, I hope Isabella's will soon realize the need for improvement and take the essential steps. Perhaps some day I'll visit again, but for the foreseeable future....
Food was just ok. Not great, not terrible. Everything lacked flavor. Service was decent but it took forever for our food to come out considering there were only 3 other tables seated and 2 already had their food when we got there.
Food was good but the service needs help.
Becoming a favorite of mine in the Crowley/Burleson area. Excellent Tex Mex with many interesting choices on the menu. Only downfall is the ever changing wait staff...
This place the worst Mexican food. Tiny bowls of chips and no spice at all. Our poor waitress made 4 or 5 trips for chips. I guess the owners do not want you to have chips. The food had NO flavor. We added pepper to the queso dip. The portions are small and expensive. Think twice before you spend any money here. Only positive waitress was good and kind. Beware!!!!!
Portions are VERY generous, the chips and salsa are small but they will refill. This was my forth visit and They are in desperate need of experienced wait staff, my waitress tonight said no problem to me no less than half a dozen times. Food is good, jalapeno margarita is VERY good.
When I moved to Texas from Southern California one of my 3 requirements was really good Mexican food. I say this so you will understand that I really LOVE it! I've had a lot of it over many years. And I will honestly say that this is the best I've ever had at any price range anywhere!
First time here - as I m walking in the door I spot a half naked man running across the place with fiery red hair (see picture) - I will definitely be back!! Live music on a week day with a full, fun, rowdy group of people. Great food, friendly folks & amazing atmosphere!!
They have very good food . Excellent waitress . Very good food! It has so much good taste , they have good salsa and chips !
The first time we came the chips and salsa were great......the other food was okay.....the second time we came they wouldnt let me order lunch food without charging me extra since it was 10 not 11. I ddint feel like breakfast so we ordered drinks. They took forever and the was only two other customers in the restaurant. Finally we got our coffee with no cream or sugar. We never got chips and salsa and by the time we got our cream and sugar I was done. Qe we ended up leaving and since we didn't drink our coffee or drinks we just left. Never going back again.
Very friendly staff, food is amazing as well. I’ve been a few times and have been nothing but pleased. One of my newfound favorites, a must visit!
The service was great. The food is home style and wonderful. I love the bar it's a nice place to pass the time
Great service and great food! The guacamole was really good. Shrimp tacos were the best I've ever had because the shrimp was actually seasoned. Don't usually pass through Crowley, but I'd come by again if I'm in the area for sure!
I like it! Great fajitas and good service. They could bring the chips out in bigger bowls!! We went through three and wished for more.
Poor quality food. This looked so bad I ordered Fajitas instead. And they were even worse.
They have the greatest chicken enchiladas my friend had the steak dinner and she said it was great also
Excellent food and friendly service, it is our favorite secret Mexican Restaurant. It is hidden in plain sight, Great prices. Sometimes, service can be a little sometimes slow on off nights that get busy. They treat you like family.
Walked in and it smeeled so bad and looked so dirty that I turned around and left
Manager is very nice, food is ok. Not amazing but not bad. Margaritas used to be really good but now they seem to be mostly margarita mix. Cute quiet spot though.
Wait staff is very inattentive, came in to sit down and waitress yelled from across the restaurant to seat ourselves, seems she couldn't be bothered to stop talking to the other 2 waitresses to seat us. Chips taste old just with salt to cover the stale taste. Will not be returning at all.
We have ate here Several times. The first couple of times the food was great! The last few times we have dined there it seems to be going downhill a bit. I have to say that the staff is always courteous and are very good about keeping your drinks and chips refilled.
We tried it 2 days ago. Had lunch portion steak fajitas, taco salad, and children's mac n cheese. Ordered iced tea. The fajitas were edible but not great, burned steak, poorly cut onions with ends on. The taco salad was completely inedible and we had to share the fajitas. The taco salad was cold, and the meat hand been rinsed and thrown into the bowl, just indescribably bad. The service was poor, i constantly tried to get people's attention and was met with stares from staff who absentmindedly wiped tables. We were one of 3 couples there and couldn't be acknowledged. The place was clean, the homemade tortillas were delicious and hot, but we were very put off by the experience. Still, we will give it one more try before we give up on them, because they are not a chain and are close to home. If we have another problem with this place we will take lots of pictures and report back. Hopefully next time is better.
Salsa was good. However, they first gave me a watered down coke when I ordered a Dr pepper. Then when my food came out there was a hair in my rice. The waitress seemed more interested in her personal life and getting off work early then taking care of her tables. The manager never came to apologise or say anything about the hair in my food. The food was also very bland. Will not be coming back
Please get the Tamarind Margarita and sit at the bar! It's always low key and a good time. The chicken tortilla soup is great and the bartenders are always sweet. One of my go to for lunch and a drink.
New to the area and wanted to find a Mexican Restaurant that wasn't a big chain restaurant. I ordered the Caldo de Res. It was delicious. The rice was really good! Authentic! My husband ordered the fajitas and he loved it! I couldn't have been happier with my experience. We definitely found our new favorite spot.
Nice enough place good portions. The queso had no flavor and neither did the food. If just a little spice was added this place has a lot of potential. The salsa was good the staff was nice.
Local, friendly staff, food is very good, even the steak. Refried beans could use more refrying, rice needs a pinch of salt, charro beans are perfect. Could be my favorite local mexican food place.
The food was good. Menu had much to offer, I had the carne guisadada & my spouse tried the the stuffed chili pepper. The restaurant offers a nice cozy ambiance. We will make a return trip there. Last but not least is the portion size, we were well satisfied at the end of the meals.
We love this place. The food is excellent. The service on the other hand is ridiculous. Our server today is wearing a shirt that says "please don't make me do stuff" and if he moved any slower he would be a statue. Definitely needs a different job. Maybe lawn chair testing.
It was our first time there and it was fantastic! We will definitely be back
The closest to true Mexican food I have tasted in North Texas. Amazing service
Came here for lunch and I was pleased with the food and service. The waitress was really friendly and professional. The sweet tea was good and actually sweet. The chips and salsa was great. Not to spicy and the chips were fresh n warm. The prices were really reasonable. I would recommend this to anyone who is hungry for some authentic mexican food.
I thought the food was very authentic. I love the smaller bowl of chips because I tend to make dinner out of them. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and chicken taquito combo. They were very accommodating. I would say I’d like the chicken seasoned (in the taquito) a bit more but other than that, very authentic cuisine. Great place to host team dinners if you call ahead or host a casual party.
Food and service not great but still go every Tuesday 5-9 for awesome karaoke
Have lived in Burleson all my life never knew they were there. My New Mexican food place. Food is wonderful. People are friendly. Just a nice place.
